I am a Swedish senior autopsy technician and embalmer with 22 years in the profession.
I started out at the Anatomical Institutes, and have worked with a broad variety of formaldehyde or phenol-based embalming solutions during the years, so I am very well aware of the problems these chemicals pose to embalmers and students alike.
I have searched for a substitute for the standard embalming fluids we use daily in the morgues where I now work, but it was not until I tried AARDBalm in 2007 I realized that a realistic alternative is actually available.
I can testify that the ARDBalm products - mainly the arterial fluid, AARDFlo and the External Gel surpassed all expectations and that I now dread working with formaldehyde.
